A small town of about 5,000 inhabitants able to welcome thousands of tourists during the summer season who enjoy it with aperitifs in chic bars and live music.
On the East side we find Porto Longone, where the tourist harbour was built and the bay of Rena Bianca on the West side, a stretch of ultra-fine, vividly coloured sand located just a short walk from the town’s main square. The crystalline waters here sparkle with a thousand sorts, several times recipient of the FEE’s Blue Flag of excellence. There is a variety of lovely beaches to enjoy: the wide La Marmorata, the picturesque Cala Balcaccia and Santa Reparata, well-known for its particularly clean water and rocky shore, ideal for diving.
How not mentioning two gorgeous beaches: Rena di Ponente and Rena di Levante. Depending on how the wind is blowing, you can enjoy a calm sea at one or the other side. At the western edge of the cape, there is the spectacular Valle della Luna, the symbol of Santa Teresa Gallura, full of hidden coves protected by high granite walls shaped by nature.
