Cala Corsara
Cala Corsara is found on the southern coast of the island of Spargi and it is only accessible by sea. This is the third largest island of the Archipelago of La Maddalena, that has been a National Park since 1996, also including the islets of Bisce, Li Nibani, Rocche, Mortorio, Le Camere and Soffi, near the Emerald Coast.
Cala Corsara is made up of four small beaches adorned to the east by small dunes on which rare and endemic plants take root, such as the rose and the sea lily, that mix their scents with those of the vegetation near the rock-cliffs, populated by junipers and brooms; in the western part there are granite rock-cliffs that have, over time, assumed amazing forms like the head of a bulldog, the head of a witch, and a boot that looks like Italy.
The sea marvels for its vivid colours, that change from turquoise to emerald according to the type of seabed and light, and sand of fine, impalpable grains. For its incomparable beauty the beach of Cala Corsara is the destination for many tourists, while its depths are aspired by scuba divers armed with flippers and air tanks, that can explore mysterious underwater worlds full of surprises.
