Matteo Gervasoni was born in Bergamo in 1977.
He attended the Goldsmith Benvenuto Cellini of Valenza Institute, graduating in 1996.
He worked as a goldsmith in the Milanese workshops.
Following his dreams he took his backpack in order to reach Le Grazie (SP) but by mistake he joined Porto Venere. He fell in love with the world of sailing and he works with Giovanni Soldini for three years and making a lot of experinces crossing the oceans with racing and big owner boats. He met different climatic conditions becoming a discrete connoisseur of the sky.
In 2011 he finally bought his boat (Maria was her maternal grandmother) and after years of work his bigger adventure begins!
The boat Nonna Maria was built in 1989, realized in aluminium from the Le Guen Hemidy yard in Carentan, France, it can accommodate up to 6 guests.
The innovative idea of Matteo is to sail around Italy and all the Mediterranean area, illustrating the stories of the most characteristic maritime towns.
